Mercedes-AMG GT3 licensed for RaceRoom!

We are very proud to announce, that the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 will become part of the RaceRoom lineup. The car, developed in-house based on the GT production car, incorporates the amassed experience from the achievements of the SLS AMG GT3. The result is an ultimate driving machine with maximum safety, precise dynamics and easy handling.

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is powered by an optimized AMG 6.3 liter V8 engine. The powerful high-revving naturally aspirated engine with dry-sump lubrication is as user-friendly as it is reliable. The sequential six-speed competition gearbox, mounted at the rear axle, has also been developed further. It is connected with the engine by means of a carbon torque tube, a guarantee for a torsion- and torque-stiff power distribution. A multi-disc locking differential, combined with the adjustable traction control, ensures that the engine power is transferred to the circuit in the best possible way.

Gearchange is activated by the driver by means of two ergonomic shift paddles mounted to the steering wheel and operates with a pneumatic actuation. Its particular driving experience is one of the characteristics of the Mercedes-AMG GT3: it allows drivers of all skill levels to build up confidence in the car very quickly. The main reasons for this are the extraordinarily precise dynamics, achieved by a low center of gravity, efficient aerodynamics and the multi-adjustable suspension.

AMG Customer Sport Teams with their AMG from Affalterbach are racing in series all across the world, such as at the ADAC GT Masters, VLN, Blancpain Endurance Series, Asian LeMans Series, Australian GT, Pirelli World Challenge, GT Open and many other GT series.

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 had a perfect debut in the Nürburgring 24-hour race. The teams that ran the new customer sports car for the first time in the classic endurance race in the Eifel secured a historic victory including a clean sweep of the podium for the brand and a total of five cars finishing in the top six.
